David H. Brooks is the founder of DHB Industries Inc. and has made a successful living from his exceptional education and personal history in business. David H. Brooks graduated from New York University in 1976 and he is a self made businessman who created a thriving publicly traded company as well as many other business ventures that he has been involved in. In 1987, David Brooks created a venture capital firm called Brooks Industries of Long Island. Through this company he made venture capital investments in emerging business entities. In 1992, David H Brooks acquired and began operating a protective apparel business called DHB Industries, Inc. It’s first full year of operations was in 1993 and the company’s approximated revenues were about seven million dollars. The business grew and by the early 2000’s, DHB was one of the leading protective apparel companies in America. By the year 2004 DHB Industries’ revenues had grown to over $30 million dollars. David H. Brooks was the driving force behind the growth and success of the business.

Passionate to see our troops out of harm’s way, Mr. Brooks has lobbied to insure that our country’s soldiers receive the best possible protective armor, expedited in a timely fashion to meet the wartime demands. A foundation has been created by David H. Brooks to assist War Veterans returning home from battle. Especially now during the recent economic downfall, when many foundations are having their funds scaled back, Mr. Brooks is continuing his philanthropic ways by forging ahead in battle to help our soldiers and families’ in their time of  need.  The protective apparel business that he has tirelessly and fearlessly led for so many years have given him the capacity to assume a protective stance for all people and all causes. David H Brooks lifesaving legacy does not stop there though , David H Brooks also contributes and donates generously to numerous worldwide humanitarian charities. David H Brooks contributes to the Kabbalah Centre , The Living torah Museum, the Oneg Shabbos soup kitchen, The Old Westbury Hebrew Congregation, and numerous other philanthropic and humanitarian charities. David H Brooks compassion for mankind does not stop there either, while being a defense contractor for body armor, David H Brooks has seen both sides of the fence, the good and the bad. That is why David H Brooks has stepped up his humanitarian efforts and has recently started this non-profit foundation for our wounded American Soldiers.
